Little kids exhibit emotions far more easily. Teens have very deep feelings but don't show them as much.<br /><br />We opted for the big part prior to the hubs' deployment. We had a slide show, friends, and it was very great to have the circle tight. Next year, though, it'll be a smaller party. I think in some ways, it's great to have a celebration --as being sent off to war is a very big deal.
